The pilot was hosted by Peter Tomarken, the series was host by Michael, a contestant on the pilot. The game was invented by Merv Griffin, it is based on the game Monopoly, Answer questions to win properties, color groups and money, in round two, buy houses and hotels for your color groups, in the final round, make it around the board to win $25K, land on GO for $50K. Bruce Forsyth is a popular UK game show host. Bruce Forsyth's Hot Streak is, however, an American game show, the only one that Bruce hosted that was not a UK game show.
